Q: Are they safe to use?
A: There has been a lot in the news about the safety of
Teflon coated cookware. The chemical in question is PFOA or C8. These
products do not contain PFOA (C8).
Q: Can I use my metal implements?
A: Metal is fine but your sheet will last longer if you
use plastic.
Q: Can I put my BBQ Liner on the grill side of my BBQ?
A: No, Non-stick sheets and bags should not come in contact with open flames
or in direct contact with elements.
Q: Can I use my Aussie bbq liner or bake tray liner in my George Forman Type
Grill?
A: Yes, they are great in any style of grill or sandwich maker.
Q:Can I cut my sheet?
A: You can cut your sheet to any size or shape you like. You shouldn't use
as a cutting surface.though
Q: Do I have to use bread in my Toasty bag?
A: You can use tortilla's or wraps, you can even use your bag to heat hash
browns, fish fingers or chicken nuggets. I know of one teen who likes to
reheat left over pizza in his Toasty bag.
Toasty Bags are also good for people suffering with Celiac/Coeliac as they
cut down on cross contamination of food.
Q: Could I use it to iron over transfers? Unusual Question
A: Its great for ironing any delicate material. They are also great for
pressing seams when making quilt blocks or yes ironing on transfers.
Q: How do I clean it?
A: Aussie BBQ Liners and Bake tray liners are excellent for people with
limited water. Wipe it over with paper towel, if it has a greasy residue
wipe with a warm soapy cloth. You can even pop it in the dishwasher, just
don't let it contact with the heating element in the dishwasher
Q: Is it good for people with food allergies
A: Yes it is because you can have your own non-stick liners to cook with you
can segregate your food from others and if you are the only one using that
liner you will know what has been cooked on it.
